Chandra

Dr. Chandra Sasseville, D.C., DICCP, a Lewiston native, has been serving the L/A community since 2004. Dr. Sasseville, loving wife and mother of three, is a graduate of St. Dominic’s Regional High School and St. Michael’s College, Colchester, VT. Dr. Sasseville completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While completing her doctorate program, she volunteered to provide chiropractic care to residents of Bolivia and Nepal as part of an outreach program offered by the college. Dr. Sasseville graduated in October 2002 with honors and was recognized for exceptional diagnostic skills receiving the Physical Diagnostic Award.

Sasseville has recently completed her Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics through the ICA and is the only Chiropractor in the State of Maine Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Sasseville utilizes manual adjusting, flexion-distraction, activator methods and the Webster technique for breech pregnancies. She has a special interest in pediatrics, women’s health, geriatrics, and nutrition. Dr. Sasseville resides in Lewiston, ME and spends her spare time with her beautiful family.

She is an active member of the State Licensing Board, MCA (Maine Chiropractic Association), Chamber of Commerce, ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association), and ICA (International Chiropractic Association). Annually, Dr. Sasseville sponsors a local charitable event known as Kids Day to promote the health and well-being of youths in the community; all proceeds to benefit New Beginnings.


Ted

Dr. Ted Stratman, D.C., FIAMA, a Nebraska native, has been serving the local community since 2006. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1998 and completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2002. Dr. Stratman has continued to pursue knowledge in rehabilitative procedures since graduating. He spent three weeks in Vietnam studying and providing humanitarian care to the people of Vietnam. Dr. Stratman was awarded a Fellowship in Acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2006. Dr. Stratman uses manual adjusting, flexion-distraction, the graston technique and the activator method.

Dr. Stratman also practices chiropractic acupuncture, trigger point deep tissue therapy, PNF stretching, kinesio taping and dynamic (rehabilitation) activities. He has a special interest in sports medicine/rehabilitation and PTSD patients. Dr. Stratman resides in Lewiston, ME and enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and three beautiful children. He loves golfing and boating as well. He is an active member of the MCA and the ACA (American Chiropractic Association). Annually, Dr. Stratman sponsors and participates in Kids Day providing free spinal exams to underprivileged children in the community.


Nia

Dr. Nia Megquier DC,, grew up on the beautiful Mount Desert Island in Bar Harbor, Maine. She graduated as an honor student from MDI high school in 2006 with the desire to work in the healthcare field. She had received chiropractic care throughout her high school career, as she was an avid softball pitcher and volleyball player. Chiropractic helped Dr. Nia with multiple sports injuries, low back pain, and helped her to perform at her optimal level in all aspects of her life. She graduated Cum Laude from University of New England in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology.

She attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. As a student intern, she treated the surrounding community, as well as the homeless, underprivileged, and recovering drug/alcohol addicts in the St. Louis community. Dr. Nia graduated with a second bachelor’s degree in Life Science as well as her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in December of 2013. Dr. Nia utilizes manual diversified adjusting, flexion-distraction, Thompson technique, activator methods, and is also certified in both Graston Techniques and Applied Kinesiology. She has a special interest in soft tissue work, including: trigger point therapy, Nimmo, and post isometric relaxation (PIR). She is currently working on becoming certified in Acupuncture in the state of Maine.


Robin

Robyn Coleman, C.A., B.D., has been part of the Sasseville Chiropractic Team since September of 2007. Coleman graduated from Central Maine Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Administration and a certificate in Medical Coding. Coleman is also a Certified Chiropractor’s Assistant allowing her to perform electric stimulation, ultrasound and assisting the doctors with initial examinations. Coleman serves as a billing specialist including insurance billing, patient billing/collections, creating payment plans and insurance benefit consultations. Coleman is an active member of the MCAA (Maine Chiropractic Assistants Association) and helps to coordinate SCWC Kids Day.

Coleman spends her spare time with her family, playing sports and working around her house. She has two young boys to keep her busy outside the office. Coleman is available for any of your billing questions or concerns.
